A story of culture, change and passion
Evolution is an extraordinary, novel dance extravaganza that showcases the many styles of Latin dance to tell the evolution story of dance throughout the Americas. Community volunteer dancers from all different backgrounds and experience levels take the stage and perform with professional Latin artists to capture the passion, beauty and participatory nature of Latin dance and culture. Authentic music and images transform the stage into a beautiful scene from places like a Buenos Aires city street, a Mexican countryside, a Colombian village or New York City. This diverse, beautifully choreographed, educational adventure is a family experience that raises the bar for dance theater performance.
